Activating Your Canadian TD Trust Credit Card Over the Phone
Both Canadian and American customers can activate their cards quickly dialing this toll-free activation number: 1 (800) 983-8472. Simply follow the instructions provided and your new card will be activated in no time. Be sure to have the card near, and be prepared to enter your personal information to identify yourself as the primary cardholder.
Activate Your TD Credit Card Online
If you’re an existing account holder with TD Trust in Canada, you can activate your new card through their EasyWeb platform. Simply navigate to the page containing your account information and scroll through to your credit card details. You can then activate new cards through this interface.
If you’re not an EasyWeb user, you can create an account once you’ve received your new card. Alternatively, navigating to this activation link will bring up the toll-free number listed above.
The Simplest Method
This activation link will take you to the TD activation page, which we recommend accessing via your smart phone. Once you’re at the page, you’ll need to touch the button that says “Call to Activate.” It will then dial the phone activation line directly.

If you’re abroad, it’s possible to activate your card calling TD customer service directly. The number to dial for this is: (416) 307-7722. It should be used whenever calling to activate a card outside of North America.
